The Advisory and Community Groups are essential for shaping High Falls State Park by incorporating local insights and promoting inclusivity in the planning process. Representing diverse neighborhoods and advocacy organizations, these groups ensure all voices are considered. Their input helps define park goals, guide programming, and enhance public participation, building trust and reflecting the community's diverse needs.

Advisory Group

The Advisory Group assists the Project Steering Group in establishing shared goals for High Falls State Park, strengthening existing and developing new partnerships to ensure the park’s long-term success, and providing insight and local knowledge to guide the development of the Framework Plan for High Falls State Park.

Community Group

The Community Group provides insight regarding the diverse priorities and needs of communities immediately adjacent to High Falls State Park. The Community Group’s input and insights will guide the establishment of goals, programming and access recommendations, and the development of the Framework Plan for High Falls State Park. The Community Group also plays a fundamental role in assisting with broad community outreach and planning for targeted engagement.
