NYS Parks has advanced the design of the new High Falls State Park based on a concept plan completed in 2022. This concept plan represents the program possibilities for the new park and is intended to be a starting point in establishing the final program, including ongoing stakeholder/public input.
The conceptual plan envisions a park integrated into the city with connectivity to local neighborhoods, adding to the recreational, cultural and economic vibrancy of the community. Facility types depicted on the conceptual plan include:
